Tranemo
Magnora wants to acquire about 35,000 square metres of part of Limmared 1:6, north of Primo, primarily for a data centre. On 15 October 2026 Tranemo's executive committee referred the case back to the general committee for further preparation to enable an establishment. The administration had proposed a land allocation agreement. The area already has a detailed plan for industry.
The officer's report of 16 September 2026 says the company has had indications from Vattenfall of capacity of up to 50 MW, and that the case went to the committee because of the large power demand. It gives 20 to 50 jobs and about two years of construction.
The company submission from Magnora Data Center Sweden AB states 35 MW of liquid-cooled IT load, its own 130 kV receiving station, planned operation in 2030 and an investment of SEK 4 to 6 billion excluding IT equipment. These are the company's figures.
