Hultsfred
Hultsfred's municipal executive committee approved a letter of intent with Magnora Project Infra 2 AB on 1 September 2026 on investigating a data centre on Verktyget 4 and 5 and part of Hultsfred 3:1 in the Nyhagen industrial area. The developer pays for further studies. No land sale has been decided.
The letter of intent has two steps. Step 2, which works towards a sale, may begin only after a decision by the executive committee's working committee. A sale would go to the municipal council. The area is about 70,000 square metres; at the earlier price of SEK 50 per square metre a deal would bring in about SEK 3.5 million.
The minutes also mention an earlier agreement on access to land for surveys by national road 34 in the southern part of Hultsfred town (working committee item 227/2025), and say two data-centre cases were being prepared in September 2026.
