The municipal council decided to sell parcels 4 and 6 of Bräcke 2:1 to Roofscapes AB for SEK 1,221,000 (item 106, case KSK 2025/539). The parcels are to be merged into Roofscapes' property Bräcke 4:4.

Sundsvall planning committee proposes adoption of the Almåsen detailed plan

Under item 125 of its approved minutes, the urban planning committee proposed that the municipal council adopt the detailed plan for Vattjom 2:42 et al. under chapter 5, section 27 of the Planning and Building Act, and decided to remove an incorrect passage about correctional facilities from the plan documents. The council is expected to decide on 30 November 2026.

The operator’s data-centers page, read 20 October 2026, says the Arlandastad facility is being built and states capacity for up to 10,000 GPUs, down from up to 16,000 in the February 2025 release. The page is undated, so the date of the change is not known.

EcoDataCenter and Mistral AI announce a Borlänge partnership

EcoDataCenter said it would design, build and operate an AI-focused data center at its existing Borlänge site, with Mistral deploying compute and a scheduled 2027 opening. The notice states a €1.2 billion long-term commitment. It is not stored as a second campus and does not publish a megawatt.

Bräcke buys land for data-centre expansion and signs option with Roofscapes

Under a purchase contract dated 29 December 2025 the municipality bought about 12.6 hectares of Bräcke 2:1 from the Church of Sweden to enable Vostroblock Group AB's development of a data centre, and signed an option agreement with Roofscapes AB.
