Electricity cost components

A Swedish electricity bill for a hall is a stack: energy, network, taxes and any certificates or other instruments. Spot prices in one bidding area are not the total cost. Network tariffs differ by owner and by how the load looks. This page does not publish a universal Swedish data-center tariff or a live price.

General orientation. Assess the specific project separately. Applies to: Readers assessing Swedish power, grid connection or electricity cost — not a substitute for a network-owner answer.

Keep the stack visible

Compare two sites only when period, currency and assumed load factor are the same. If one number is missing, show the gap.

  • Energy — wholesale, PPA or other supply contract.
  • Network — the owner’s tariff for the actual connection.
  • Tax — current rules from Skatteverket, dated.
  • Other — certificates, guarantees of origin, or contractual premia.

A scenario is not a bill

A constant average price times hours is a teaching model. It is not next year’s invoice. Energy-tax detail belongs on Skatteverket’s pages and needs legal review before anyone treats it as advice.
