DeepL says a liquid-cooled DGX GB200 SuperPOD is operational at EcoDataCenter in Sweden

On 11 June 2025 DeepL said it had deployed an NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD with DGX GB200 systems, the first such deployment in Europe, now operational at partner EcoDataCenter in Sweden. The notice describes a liquid-cooled, rack-scale design. That is a customer-and-cooling occupancy paper. It does not publish a Falun megawatt and does not replace the 2024 CoreWeave Blackwell notice.
DeepL’s 11 June 2025 press notice is the dated customer source used here. Issued in Paris, it says the deployment marks the first DGX SuperPOD with DGX GB200 systems in Europe and is now operational at DeepL’s partner EcoDataCenter in Sweden. The cluster is DeepL’s third DGX SuperPOD and is said to surpass DeepL Mercury, the previous flagship. Those sentences describe a named tenant and a cooling generation. They are not a campus capacity table.
Liquid cooling is in the product sentence, not in a heat ledger. The notice says NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD with DGX GB200 systems, with its liquid-cooled, rack-scale design, will enable high-performance AI models. EcoDataCenter’s undated GB200 page repeats Europe’s first liquid-cooled DGX GB200 deployment, names the collaboration with DeepL, Nvidia and Schneider, and says four data centers are operational and two commissioned in Falun. Commissioned buildings on an operator page are not a restatement of the 41 MW annual-report sentence already stored from 2025.
Translation-speed illustrations in the DeepL notice — 18.5 days versus 194 days to translate the web, and other timed examples — are product performance claims. They are not megawatts, not occupied IT load and not a delivered heat volume to Falu Energi & Vatten. This article does not convert those timings into a hall rating.
Two Falun technology rows must stay separate. The 28 August 2024 CoreWeave / EcoDataCenter notice already in this register describes a large-scale NVIDIA Blackwell cluster. The June 2025 DeepL paper names a DGX GB200 SuperPOD. Sharing a campus and a vendor family does not merge the deployments. The pellet-heat sentence and the Fortum hydropower PPA stay on their own papers.
DataCenterSweden records 11 June 2025 against the EcoDataCenter Falun project as a reported liquid-cooled occupancy event. It does not add a megawatt row and does not treat the cluster as a grid or permit decision. The next update would need a later primary source that names an electrical boundary, a measured heat volume or a different tenant milestone.
Why it matters
A liquid-cooled GB200 occupancy is easy to rewrite as a Falun megawatt. The June 2025 paper is usable only if the SuperPOD, the 41 MW annual-report sentence and the 2024 Blackwell notice stay on separate rows.
What remains unknown
Neither source publishes a megawatt, a measured heat volume, a grid allocation or a commissioning date for the two additional Falun buildings.
