atNorth reports completed acquisition by CPP Investments and Equinix

On 2 September 2026 atNorth said CPP Investments and Equinix had completed an acquisition. Swedish sites named on atNorth pages remain SWE01, SWE02 and SWE04.

atNorth published a 2 September 2026 notice stating that Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and Equinix had completed an acquisition. The company said it would continue to operate independently under the atNorth brand.

The notice describes a Nordic footprint and names Swedish development at Sollefteå and an additional Stockholm metro site. It does not, in the text used here, restate SWE01’s 12 MW figure or change any Falun or hyperscale record in this register.

DataCenterSweden records this as an ownership event attached to the Swedish atNorth projects. Capacity, construction stage and grid status are unchanged until a dated operating source says otherwise.

Why it matters

Ownership can change who answers due-diligence questions. It does not, by itself, prove new megawatts or a completed hall.

What remains unknown

The notice does not publish a Swedish MW restatement or a new SWE04 construction milestone.
