Development dependencies

Draw requirements, location, power, planning, environment and construction as concurrent bars. The date that matters is the first bar that is still red. Publishing “18 months to power” as a Swedish constant would be an invention. Publish the dependencies instead.

General orientation. Assess the specific project separately. Applies to: Readers preparing a Swedish data-center development file. This is orientation, not a permit decision.

Bars to keep on one page

When a company publishes only one of those bars, write the others as unknown.

  • Land control.
  • Grid studies and reinforcements.
  • Detaljplan / bygglov / startbesked.
  • Environmental notifications or permits.
  • Long-lead electrical and cooling kit.
  • Hall construction and commissioning.
