Hamre, Sollefteå: distinguish the project from the wider area

The municipality’s February 2026 announcement places atNorth in the area known as Hamre 1 and discusses work to attract further establishments. Its current planning page also lists the proposed extension of the Hamre industrial area. These are separate evidence threads that need matching to the correct boundaries.

A municipal notice dated 28 May 2026 reports E.ON’s connection agreement for atNorth in Långsele. That is evidence about a named project; it does not establish spare capacity for other properties.

Kvarnsveden, Borlänge: a useful public document trail

• Next checks: read the actual plan provisions and technical studies, confirm current process status, ownership and any opportunity for a new investor. The document list alone establishes none of these outcomes.

Boden: use the planning register to identify research areas

Boden’s planning register lists a second review for the Gruvbergsvägen–Häradsvägen area, covering Sävast 9:23 and other properties. The register describes additional business and industrial areas near Boden Industrial Park. This is a planning lead, not an identified data center offer.

• Research priority: identify the precise area and intended uses before investigating a data center scenario.
• Next checks: the latest plan documents, whether the proposed use can be assessed there, ownership, ground and access conditions, fibre and a site-specific power enquiry.

What can be concluded at this stage?

The pages provide starting points for three different investigations: project-versus-area boundaries in Hamre, an industrial redevelopment document trail in Kvarnsveden and an industrial planning lead in Boden. They do not support a ranking of investment attractiveness, a claim of available land or an estimate of connectable power.
