The Swedish electricity system
Sweden’s physical system has a transmission network operated by Svenska kraftnät, regional and local networks operated by other companies, and a wholesale market divided into four bidding areas. Generation, transmission, distribution and retail are different roles. A national terawatt-hour figure is useful context. It is not a yes to a 50 MW hall outside Falun or Staffanstorp.

Who says what
Keep the letterhead. A municipality can welcome a project and still not own the wires. A retailer can sell energy and still not grant a connection. Svenska kraftnät speaks to the transmission level. The local or regional network owner speaks to the property.
Network levels
Large loads may require reinforcement several levels above the plot. Time and cost sit in that chain, not only in the last transformer. Ask which studies exist at each level and which of them are complete.
