Letsi–Svartbyn concession is granted — and appealed

The hub records an Energy Markets Inspectorate grant on 25 March 2026 and a 21 April note that the decision has been appealed to the government. An appealed grant is not legal force.

Svenska kraftnät's Letsi–Svartbyn hub, read on 12 September 2026, is the dated source used here. It records an Energy Markets Inspectorate concession on 25 March 2026 for about 100 kilometres of 400 kV between Jokkmokk and Boden. A 21 April 2026 note says the decision has been appealed and sits with the government. An appealed grant is not legal force, and it is not reserved Norrbotten hall offtake.

The printed timetable still points to construction in 2026 and commissioning in 2028–2029. Those years stay a timetable printed beside an appeal. They are not a shovel that has cleared the appeal.

Degerträsk station is printed as commissioned, with works continuing in 2026. A commissioned station on the corridor is not this line in legal force.

This note is not the Svartbyn–Hällmyran contractor paper and not Aurora Line. A November 2025 NYAB line-contract sentence, if it appears as a neighbour, stays a neighbouring contractor row.

Why it matters

A Jokkmokk–Boden 400 kV grant is real — and paused at government review — which is a different fact from a legal-force line.

What remains unknown

Whether the government upholds the grant, and on what construction clock, is not in the 21 April note.
