Vertical Data reports a Sollefteå purchase agreement; 4.5 MW, 100 MW and 500 MW are different claims

On 11 September 2026 Vertical Data said its majority-owned Vertical Data Nordic AB had entered a definitive purchase agreement for an existing industrial data-center site with 4.5 MW of power capacity in Sollefteå Municipality. If the transaction proceeds, the company intends to pursue an application for up to 100 MW. Closing is still conditional. This is not atNorth’s SWE04 file.
Vertical Data’s 11 September 2026 notice is the dated company source used here. It says the Las Vegas-based issuer, quoted as OTCQB:VDTA, through Vertical Data Nordic AB entered a definitive purchase agreement to acquire an existing industrial data-center site with 4.5 MW of power capacity in Sollefteå Municipality in central Sweden. “Existing” and “4.5 MW of power capacity” are the company’s words for the asset under contract. They are not a Svenska kraftnät reservation and not a defined IT-load observation in this register.
The expansion sentence is an intention after closing. The notice says that if the proposed transaction proceeds, the company intends to continue pursuing an application for up to 100 MW of total power capacity to build out an AI facility. An application that remains to be pursued is not a granted connection and not an energised campus. The same notice says the application remains subject to utility, regulatory and technical processes and approvals.
A third figure appears as a restated municipal claim. Vertical Data writes that Sollefteå Municipality has publicly stated that the Hamre Industrial Park, where the property is located, is connected to up to 500 MW of available grid capacity. That sentence is the company’s attribution of a municipal availability claim. It is not a network-owner agreement in this file, not a preliminary notice from Svenska kraftnät, and not a reason to add 4.5, 100 and 500. The company’s own forward-looking-statement block repeats that the 500 MW wording is among the statements that may not occur.
Closing has not happened on the date of the notice. Vertical Data says the parties are satisfying remaining conditions, that site requirements, costs, demand and financing will be assessed upon closing, and that completion remains subject to financing, corporate approvals, regulatory clearances and other conditions, with closing anticipated in the next several weeks. A definitive agreement is a process step. It is not title, not a building permit and not operation. The “250 MW+” global conversion pipeline in the chief-executive quotation is a company pipeline total, not a Swedish allocation.
Do not merge this notice into SWE04. atNorth’s Sollefteå / Hamre file already has a February 2026 300 MW campus announcement, a May 2026 municipal report of a 200 MW E.ON agreement, and a 2 September 2026 ownership event. Vertical Data is a different issuer describing a different purchase of an existing industrial site. Sharing the Hamre Industrial Park place-name does not make the projects one row. DataCenterSweden records 11 September 2026 as a reported, still-conditional acquisition notice with no project identifier attached until a later source identifies the cadastral unit and closes the transaction.
Why it matters
A new issuer has published a Sollefteå land-and-power story in the same industrial park name as SWE04. The file stays usable only if 4.5 MW existing, 100 MW applied-for and 500 MW municipally restated remain unadded — and if atNorth’s 300/200 MW papers stay on their own row.
What remains unknown
The notice does not identify the cadastral unit, does not document closing, does not define 4.5 MW as IT or facility load, and does not contain a network-owner paper for 100 MW or 500 MW.
