Vattenfall’s 20 April Uddebo–Lockryd note is a closed 130 kV consult, not reserved Svenljunga hall power

On 20 April 2026 Vattenfall Eldistribution said the Uddebo–Lockryd consult period had closed. Incoming statements are to feed the county’s significant-environmental-impact decision. A closed consult is not reserved offtake.

Vattenfall Eldistribution’s Uddebo–Lockryd page is the dated consult-close source used here. It writes new 130 kV overhead lines Uddebo–Åsebo–Lockryd in Svenljunga Municipality, Västra Götaland County, about 22 kilometres in all. One line is written as running about 15 kilometres parallel to an existing 130 kV line between Uddebo and Åsebo. A new switching station is written as planned at Åsebo, from which two new 130 kV lines of about seven kilometres run to the Lockryd industrial area. A 22-kilometre consult-close is not reserved hall offtake.

The purpose sentence must stay a purpose sentence. The Lockryd industrial area is written as supplied today by an existing 40 kV line. The page writes that a data centre is planning to establish itself in the industrial area, and that the power need will therefore increase sharply. The existing line is written as needing to be complemented by a double 130 kV line to a new station in the industrial area. Those sentences stay the page’s own wording. The page does not name a tenant and does not print a megawatt. A planned-hall sentence without a name or a figure is not a reserved offtake.

The process sentence must stay a process sentence. The 6 March 2026 update writes a combined screening and scoping consult under chapter 6 of the Environmental Code, with the county, the municipality and individuals who may be particularly affected. An open house is written as 26 March at the civic hall in Sexdrega. The 20 April line says the consult period is closed and that incoming statements are compiled in a consult report as the basis for the county’s significant-environmental-impact decision. A county BMP decision still to come is not a concession.

Why it matters

A 130 kV headline that also writes a planned data centre is easy to file as reserved hall power. The 20 April note is usable only if the closed consult stays a closed consult — and the unnamed hall stays unnamed.

What remains unknown

The page does not name a tenant, print a megawatt, record the county’s BMP decision or file a concession for Uddebo–Lockryd.
