Vattenfall’s Storsund–Älvsbyn legal-force day is a 170 kV realignment, not reserved Norrbotten hall power

Vattenfall Eldistribution’s Älvsbyn page says the Energy Markets Inspectorate granted a changed concession on 30 June 2026 and that the decision has gained legal force. A two-stretch realignment is not reserved offtake in Älvsbyn.

Vattenfall Eldistribution’s Älvsbyn project page is the dated legal-force source used here. It says the company applied to change the concession for parts of the existing line between Storsund and Älvsbyn. The line receives a new alignment at Lill-Korsträsk and at Teugerträsk. The application was granted by the Energy Markets Inspectorate on 30 June 2026 and the decision has gained legal force. A granted change is not reserved offtake.

The purpose sentence must stay a purpose sentence. Vattenfall writes capacity-raising measures on the 170 kV line between Aldermyrberget and Älvsbyn. On two stretches the line must be moved so those measures can be carried out. The existing line that those two stretches replace will be demolished. Those are rebuild facts. They are not a hall agreement.

The process sentence must stay a process sentence. The page says consultation on several alignment alternatives has been held and that a concession application was filed. Legal force on a changed alignment is not a construction start and not a named consumption contract. No reserved megawatt is printed on the page.
