Vattenfall’s Ale 130 kV legal-force pair is a regional rebuild, not reserved Gothenburg hall power

Vattenfall Eldistribution’s Gothenburg reinforcement page, updated 30 March 2026, says the Energy Markets Inspectorate concessions for two 130 kV rebuilds in Ale gained legal force on 24 and 26 March. Legal force on a rebuild is not reserved campus offtake.

Vattenfall Eldistribution’s Gothenburg regional-network page, with a 30 March 2026 update, is the dated rebuild source used here. It says the company has received concession from the Energy Markets Inspectorate for rebuilding part of the existing 130 kV line ZL1S1 and part of ZL3S2. Both rebuilds are in Ale Municipality. The decisions gained legal force on 24 March and 26 March. Legal force on two rebuild stretches is not reserved hall offtake.

The station sentence must stay a station sentence. A 2 February 2026 update says the Rösbacka station sub-project starts on 2 March and is planned to run to May 2027, as preparatory work for a new 400 kV line between Rösbacka and Ingelkärr. A station start and a planned 400 kV link to Svenska kraftnät’s planned Ingelkärr station are enablement sentences. They are not a live 400 kV circuit and not a Gothenburg hall reservation.

The Hisingen sentence must stay a Hisingen sentence. The page plans a new double 130 kV overhead line between the new Rösbacka station in Ale and a new Torpet station on Hisingen in Gothenburg. The concession application for that double line was filed on 28 July 2025 and has Inspectorate case number 2025-103616. The same day an application went to the Västra Götaland County Administrative Board for works in the Göta älv–Nordre älv valley Natura 2000 area. A filed double line is not a granted line.

Until then, the March pair stays a regional rebuild — not reserved Gothenburg hall capacity.

Why it matters

A Gothenburg-area legal-force week is easy to file as spare west-coast hall power. The March update is usable only if the Ale rebuilds stay rebuilds.

The page does not print a granted Rösbacka–Torpet concession, a live 400 kV circuit or a reserved Gothenburg hall megawatt.
