Vattenfall’s Färlev–Tossene page is a 130 kV build under way, not reserved Sotenäs hall power

Vattenfall Eldistribution’s Färlev–Tossene page writes that construction of a new 130 kV line and a new Tossene station is under way between Munkedal, Lysekil and Kungshamn. Works under way are not reserved offtake.

Vattenfall Eldistribution’s Färlev–Tossene project page is the dated works source used here. It writes a new 130 kV line on the Färlev–Tossene stretch, between Munkedal, Lysekil and Kungshamn, plus a new transformer station at Tossene. The project is written as meeting development and need in the Sotenäs/Lysekil area and its coastal communities, and as securing a robust supply. A coastal 130 kV build is not reserved hall offtake.

The works sentence must stay a works sentence. Construction of the line is written as under way. The hilly terrain is written as meaning that many different pole types are needed along the stretch. Those are construction facts. They are not a reserved megawatt and not a printed finish month.

The station sentence must stay a station sentence. At Tossene the page writes a wholly new transformer station with 130, 40 and 10 kV switchgear. That station is written as replacing the existing 40/10 kV station from the 1970s and as adding a wholly new voltage level in the area in order to increase capacity. A new voltage level is not a named hall.

This article does not invent a finish half-year, a tenant or a reserved hall offtake into a page that only writes works under way.

The next update would need a later primary source that names the line or the Tossene station as in service, or a reserved consumption agreement with a printed megawatt. Why it matters

A new 130 kV Bohuslän headline is easy to file as spare coastal hall power. The page is usable only if works under way stay works — not a reservation.

What remains unknown

The page does not print a finish month, name Tossene as in service or give a reserved hall megawatt beside Färlev–Tossene.
