Timrå’s Torsboda 1:2 amendment is an E4 interchange height change, not a hall permit

Timrå’s plan page, updated 25 August 2026, says the proposed amendment of the detailed development plan for Torsboda 1:2 and others was out for review from 18 June to 17 August 2026. The purpose is a Trafikverket E4 interchange. A road amendment is not the Google share vote.

It says the proposed amendment was sent for review from 18 June to 17 August 2026. Earlier consultation ran from 13 April to 1 May 2026. Comments in consultation led to changes in the map, the plan description and the annexes. A completed review window is not an adopted plan.

The purpose sentence must stay a purpose sentence. The amendment is to enable an interchange that Trafikverket plans so the industrial area can connect to the E4. The traffic solution needs a connection height that the current plan does not allow, so the amendment changes the permitted ground height. A small strip along the E4 is also proposed to change from industry (J) to road (VÄG). Those are road-and-height sentences. They are not a hall envelope.

The procedure sentence stays a procedure sentence. The proposal is handled under the standard procedure because it is said to match the current comprehensive plan, not to be of great public interest and not to involve significant environmental impact. Anyone who did not comment by the end of the review period may lose the right to appeal an adoption decision. Standard procedure is not a building permit.
