Skogssäter–Kilanda’s stage-two note is a 2026 rebuild timetable, not reserved Gothenburg hall power

Svenska kraftnät’s 12 February 2026 Skogssäter–Kilanda note says the line was energised earlier than planned after the autumn 2025 outage window and that stage two, the southern stretch, is in preparatory works toward planned operation in November 2026. A rebuild date is not a hall reservation.

Svenska kraftnät’s 12 February 2026 project note is the dated stage-two source used here. It says that during autumn 2025 the Skogssäter–Kilanda project took a step forward in the west-coast transmission renewal. Despite an intensive outage period the overhead line could be put into operation earlier than planned. An early energisation of a rebuild stretch is not reserved offtake.

The preparatory sentence must stay a preparatory sentence. During that same period earth and foundation works and access roads were already under way as preparation for stage two, so work areas would be reachable and 2026 construction would have a start. Those are enabling works. They are not a new concession filing.

The spring-2026 sentence must stay a spring-2026 sentence. Preparatory works in stage two now cover the southern part of the line. During the spring the project continues with earth and foundation works and tower erection, so the planned outage window can be kept. The new line is planned to enter operation in November 2026. After that, cleanup of ground where the old towers stood and removal of old foundations is planned from November 2026 into spring 2027. Those are rebuild dates. They are not a Gothenburg hall agreement.

Named neighbouring papers stay on their own files. The Skogssäter–Ingelkärr concession filings, Horred–Breared, Ellevio’s Halland and Bohuslän snapshots, Vattenfall’s Västra Götaland allocation and the reserved-connection tables are different dates. This article does not import a later Skogssäter–Ingelkärr filing into a Kilanda stage-two timetable.

DataCenterSweden records 12 February 2026 as a Svenska kraftnät Skogssäter–Kilanda stage-two note. No project identifier is attached. The next update would need a later primary source that names a November 2026 commissioning confirmation, a reserved offtake or a signed hall connection. Until then, November 2026 stays a planned rebuild month — not reserved Gothenburg hall capacity.

Why it matters

A November 2026 west-coast energisation date is easy to file as spare Gothenburg hall power. The February note is usable only if stage two stays a rebuild timetable.

What remains unknown

The note does not print a confirmed November 2026 commissioning certificate, a reserved offtake or a named Gothenburg datacentre applicant.
