Svenska kraftnät’s Skogssäter–Ingelkärr filings are a concession package, not a 2031 hall reservation

On 25 March 2026 Svenska kraftnät said it had filed network-concession applications with the Energy Markets Inspectorate in February 2026 for new 400 kV links Skogssäter–Lunna and Lunna–Ingelkärr. A filed pair is not a construction start.

It says the authority has finished the concession applications for the Skogssäter–Lunna and Lunna–Ingelkärr stretches and sent them to the Energy Markets Inspectorate in February 2026. The Inspectorate will review the filings and then circulate them to parties of interest. Construction can start only after a concession decision has gained legal force. A filing is not a granted concession.

The environmental-statement sentence must stay an environmental-statement sentence. The applications include an environmental impact assessment of judged effects and the steps taken to reduce them. The applications and assessments sit on the project documents page. Ground surveys are planned from April 2026 for about one year, carried out by WSP, on properties where consent or a permit has been obtained. Corridor marking for intrusion valuation started in late February. Those are application and survey rows. They are not a tower-erection start.

The purpose sentence must stay a purpose sentence. The project page describes a new 400 kV alternating-current overhead line between Skogssäter in Trollhättan Municipality and Ingelkärr in Ale Municipality, via a new Lunna station near Stenungsund. It is written to support higher offtake subscriptions in Västra Götaland, onshore wind connections in Västra Götaland and Värmland, offshore wind off the west coast, and higher transfer between Norway and northern Europe. Those are purpose bullets. They are not a named hall reservation.

Named neighbouring papers stay on their own files. Ellevio’s August 2026 Halland and Bohuslän snapshots already list Skogssäter–Ingelkärr among later 2026–2031 works. The Skogssäter–Kilanda stage-two note, Horred–Breared and the reserved-connection tables are different dates. This article does not import a 2031 hall offtake into a February filing.

The next update would need a later primary source that names a granted concession, a legal-force decision or a construction start. Until then, Lunna stays a planned station — not reserved west-coast hall capacity.

Why it matters

A west-coast 400 kV filing that names higher offtake is easy to file as reserved Gothenburg hall power. The March notice is usable only if the applications stay applications.

What remains unknown

The fetched pages name February 2026 filings, later Inspectorate review and a planned Lunna station. They do not print a granted concession or a reserved hall megawatt.
