The Kronåsen–Råcksta contractor award is a cable and civil pair, not a live 400 kV city circuit

Svenska kraftnät’s 3 February 2026 status note says it has contracted Prysmian to supply the land cable and Skanska to do the civil works and lay it. An award is not energisation and not reserved Stockholm hall offtake.

Svenska kraftnät’s Kronåsen–Råcksta hub, fetched with a 3 February 2026 status note, is the dated award source used here. The note says Svenska kraftnät has signed contracts with Prysmian, which will supply the land cable, and Skanska, which will do the civil works for the cable and lay it. A contractor pair is not a live circuit.

The timetable sentence must stay a timetable sentence. The hub’s preliminary timetable says works start in summer or autumn 2026 on parts of the stretch, and that the cables should be ready to energise in autumn 2030. Those are printed works dates. They are not a commissioned 400 kV link and not a reserved megawatt.

The object sentence must stay an object sentence. The hub describes a new land cable in western Stockholm, written as a further reinforcement to keep the region supplied. The delivery phase is to be sustainability-certified under Breeam Infrastructure, covering among other things governance, resilience, community effects, land use and ecology, landscape and cultural environments, pollution, resources and transport. Those are object and certification sentences. The fetched page does not print a kilometre or a megawatt for this stretch. This article does not invent either figure.

Named neighbouring papers stay neighbouring papers. The Kappetorp–Kronåsen government window, the Odensala–Kappetorp rebuild, Anneberg–Skanstull’s tunnel-boring note and Ellevio’s Stockholm snapshot stay on their own files. This article does not import a reserved city-hall offtake into a February award.

DataCenterSweden records 3 February 2026 as a Svenska kraftnät Kronåsen–Råcksta contractor award. No project identifier is attached. The next update would need a later primary source that names started works on the stretch, an energised cable or a reserved consumption agreement. Until then, autumn 2030 stays a ready-to-energise row — not reserved Stockholm hall capacity.

Why it matters

A western-Stockholm cable award is easy to file as spare city-hall power. The February note is usable only if Prysmian and Skanska stay a contractor pair — not an energised circuit.

What remains unknown

The hub names the two contractors and an autumn 2030 energise-ready row. It does not print a kilometre, a reserved hall megawatt or a commissioned cable.
