Svenska kraftnät’s 16 June 2026 close-out note is the dated Järpströmmen–Mörsil source used here. It says the consultation on a changed network concession for the existing 220 kV line between Järpströmmen and Mörsil in Åre Municipality, open since the beginning of May, has ended. Comments will be compiled and answered in a consultation report that will form part of the concession application. A closed consult is not a reserved offtake.

The next-step sentence must stay a next-step sentence. After the consult, further studies will be made, the environmental-impact statement will be prepared and a final alignment will be chosen. Once the application for a changed concession has been filed and judged complete, the Energy Markets Inspectorate will run its own remittal. Those are process facts. They are not a hall agreement.

The sibling 400 kV sentence must stay a sibling sentence. The Ismunden–Järpströmmen–Mörsil hub writes a separate new 400 kV line between Järpströmmen and Ismunden, a new planned station in Bräcke Municipality, about 10 Swedish miles, with consultation in autumn/winter 2026, a concession filing in the winter of 2027/2028, construction start in 2030 and both stretches in service in 2035. The 16 June note does not close that 400 kV window. This article does not treat the 220 kV close-out as 400 kV progress.
