The corridor sentence must stay a corridor sentence. The Horndal–Munga hub writes two new 400 kV alternating-current overhead lines between Horndal in Avesta Municipality and Munga in Västerås Municipality, about 63 km, plus a new station at Munga. Today’s double 220 kV line has reached the end of its technical life. The municipalities listed are Avesta, Sala and Västerås. Those are corridor facts. They are not a hall agreement.

The timetable sentence must stay a timetable sentence. The hub prints a concession application in 2025, construction start in 2030 and the new line in service in 2032. A separate December 2024 note says demolition of one of the two old lines between Horndal and Munga runs from January 2025 to 2028. Those are programme dates. They are not reserved megawatts.

A 63-kilometre Avesta–Västerås headline that also names a new Munga station is easy to file as spare Mälaren hall power. The May note is usable only if the filing stays a filing — not a reservation.

What remains unknown

The note does not grant the concession, start construction of the new 400 kV lines or name a reserved consumption agreement beside Horndal–Munga.
