Svenska kraftnät’s Hedenlunda–Glan ground works are a rebuild study, not reserved Södermanland hall power

Svenska kraftnät’s 27 April 2026 Hedenlunda–Glan note says ground investigations in the right-of-way begin in May and run through the rest of 2026. A soils study is not reserved Flen or Finspång offtake.
Svenska kraftnät’s 27 April 2026 Hedenlunda–Glan hub note is the dated ground-investigation source used here. It says ground investigations in the right-of-way begin in May. They are an important basis for how the new line’s towers will be founded. The investigations run through the rest of the year and are carried out by procured contractors on Svenska kraftnät’s behalf. A soils study is not a reserved offtake.
The corridor sentence must stay a corridor sentence. The hub says Svenska kraftnät plans to renew and raise the capacity of the existing 400 kV line between Hedenlunda in Flen Municipality and Glan in Finspång Municipality. The line is approaching the end of its technical life and needs to be renewed to keep operational and personal safety. Renewing it to modern standard raises transfer capacity and is written as helping to remove capacity constraints in the Södermanland transmission grid. Technique is 400 kV alternating-current overhead. Length is 49 kilometres. Municipalities named are Katrineholm, Finspång, Flen and Norrköping, in Södermanland and Östergötland counties. Those are rebuild facts. They are not a hall agreement.
The timetable sentence must stay a timetable sentence. The hub prints nature-value inventories in 2024, authority dialogue in 2025, ground investigations starting in 2026, construction start in 2028 and commissioning in 2030. A later 17 June 2026 hub note says bat inventories in the corridors start in week 26. Those are rebuild dates. They are not reserved megawatts.
Named neighbouring papers stay on their own files. The reserved-connection tables, other Mälardalen rebuilds and municipal campus papers in the same counties are different dates and different legal rows. This article does not import a named hall into a Hedenlunda–Glan soils day.
DataCenterSweden records 27 April 2026 as a Svenska kraftnät ground-investigation notice for Hedenlunda–Glan. No project identifier is attached. The next update would need a later primary source that names a construction start, a commissioned line or a reserved consumption agreement beside the corridor. Until then, the 2028–2030 window stays a rebuild timetable — not reserved Södermanland hall capacity.
Why it matters
A 49-kilometre Södermanland soils headline is easy to file as spare hall power. The April note is usable only if the investigation stays an investigation — not a reservation.
What remains unknown
The fetched pages do not start construction, grant concession or name a datacentre offtake on Hedenlunda–Glan.
