Svenska kraftnät’s Breared–Söderåsen works note is a west-coast rebuild stage, not reserved Halland hall power

Svenska kraftnät’s 14 July 2025 Breared–Söderåsen note says foundations, roads, earthing and tower assembly have been carried out, and that the first stretch Breared–Skogaby is to be completed and taken into service in the autumn. A works update is not reserved offtake.

Svenska kraftnät’s 14 July 2025 works note is the dated Breared–Söderåsen source used here. It says several work steps were carried out in the spring, including foundations, roads, earthing and tower assembly. Work continues in the summer and in the autumn enters a new phase in which the first stretch between Breared and Skogaby is completed and taken into service. The note says all work is proceeding according to plan. A planned autumn energisation of one stretch is not a reserved offtake.

The works-window sentence must stay a works-window sentence. Along the first part of the route, work from August through November includes demolition of the existing line, then tower erection and pulling of new phase conductors, with noisier activity and detonation splicing at named tower locations. Those are construction facts. They are not a hall agreement.

The corridor sentence must stay a corridor sentence. The Breared–Söderåsen hub writes an ageing 400 kV alternating-current overhead line of about 88 km between Breared in Halmstad Municipality and Söderåsen in Bjuv Municipality, through Halmstad, Laholm, Ängelholm and Bjuv. For 30 km the line is partly co-built with Häradsbo–Söderåsen. The hub prints construction start in 2024, commissioning of the new line in 2026 and demolition of the existing line in 2027. Those are programme dates. They are not reserved megawatts.

Related grid notes stay on their own pages. Horred–Breared’s first-sod note, Stenkullen–Horred and other west-coast rebuilds are different dates and different legal rows. This article does not merge Breared–Söderåsen with Horred–Breared.

DataCenterSweden records 14 July 2025 as a Svenska kraftnät works notice for Breared–Söderåsen. No project identifier is attached. The next update would need a later primary source that names the Breared–Skogaby stretch as actually in service, the 2026 line as commissioned or a reserved consumption agreement beside the corridor. Until then, the autumn sentence stays a plan — not reserved Halland or north-west Skåne hall capacity.

Why it matters

An 88-kilometre Halland–Skåne rebuild headline is easy to file as spare west-coast hall power. The July note is usable only if the autumn plan stays a plan — not a reservation.

What remains unknown

The note does not certify that Breared–Skogaby entered service, that the 2026 line is commissioned or that any hall offtake is reserved beside the corridor.
