Bäsna–Repbäcken’s June filing is a second Dalarna 400 kV application, not reserved hall offtake

The note says Svenska kraftnät has now submitted a network-concession application to the Energy Markets Inspectorate for a new 400 kV line between Bäsna in Gagnef Municipality and Repbäcken in Borlänge Municipality. A concession application is not a granted permit and not a reserved offtake.

The duty sentence must stay a duty sentence. The hub says a 400 kV overhead line already runs between the two stations and transfers electricity into Ellevio’s Dalarna grid. Svenska kraftnät plans a further line between the same stations to meet its connection duty toward the regional-network owner. An additional circuit for that duty is not a named campus agreement.

The timetable sentence must stay a timetable sentence. The hub table prints authority dialogue in 2024, consultation in 2025, the concession application in 2026, an Inspectorate concession decision in 2028, construction start in 2029/2030 and planned commissioning in 2031/2032. A 2 July 2026 note adds that ground investigations on a number of properties along the planned route are to start in late August. Those are rebuild dates. They are not reserved megawatts.

This article does not import a hall reservation into a June filing.

The next update would need a later primary source that names a granted concession, a construction start or a reserved consumption agreement beside the corridor. Until then, the second 400 kV line stays a Dalarna filing — not reserved hall capacity.

Why it matters

A second Dalarna 400 kV filing is easy to file as spare hall power beside Borlänge. The June application is usable only if the duty line stays a duty line.

What remains unknown

The hub does not print a granted concession, a reserved hall megawatt or a named datacentre applicant beside Bäsna–Repbäcken.
