The Anneberg–Skanstull breakthrough is a finished tunnel bore, not a live 400 kV city cable

On 7 May 2025 Svenska kraftnät said the tunnel-boring machine had reached its end station at Skanstull in Mårtensdal after a roughly 13-kilometre drive from Danderyd. A finished bore is not an energised cable.
Svenska kraftnät’s 7 May 2025 project note is the dated breakthrough source used here. It says the authority is carrying out about fifty Stockholm projects to strengthen the grid. Anneberg–Skanstull is one of them: a tunnel of just over 13 kilometres under central Stockholm. Since 2020 the tunnel-boring machine has worked at about 100 metres depth from Danderyd in the north to Hammarby sjöstad in the south. In spring 2025 the drive was complete and the machine had reached its end station, Skanstull station in Mårtensdal. A finished bore is not a live circuit.
The next-step sentence must stay a next-step sentence. The note says the next step is to prepare for later installation of the electricity-cable system in the tunnel. That is a preparation sentence. It is not a commissioning certificate and not a 2028 or 2029 operation year on this page.
The hub sentence must stay a hub sentence. The Anneberg–Skanstull hub describes a new electricity connection between the Anneberg and Skanstull stations, planned in a tunnel from Danderyd under the inner city to south of Skanstull. The same hub prints a length of about 13.4 kilometres, alternating-current 400 kV cables in the tunnel, and a tunnel diameter of 5 metres. Those are design rows. They are not reserved city-hall offtake.
Named neighbouring papers stay on their own files. Svenska kraftnät’s December 2025 Stockholm network-development-plan note, Ellevio’s August 2026 Stockholm snapshot and the reserved-connection tables are different dates. This article does not import a later delay year or a Stockholm NUP cell into a May 2025 breakthrough.

The next update would need a later primary source that names installed cables, an energised 400 kV circuit or a reserved city offtake tied to the tunnel. Until then, the 13.4-kilometre bore stays a finished tunnel — not live Stockholm hall capacity.
Why it matters
A finished 13-kilometre Stockholm tunnel is easy to file as live city-hall power. The May breakthrough is usable only if the bore stays a bore — not an energised cable.
What remains unknown
The 7 May note does not install the cable system, energise a 400 kV circuit or reserve a named Stockholm offtake through the tunnel.
