On 3 June 2026 Eurelectric published a Stockholm Exergi Open District Heating case, sourced to Exergi. It records more than 30 data centres across 16 providers and a SEK 2 million per megawatt per year revenue signal. A platform count is not a metered 2026 megawatt-hour and not Horndal.

It says Stockholm Exergi’s Open District Heating platform allows data centres to sell waste heat into the city’s district-heating network under standardised, temperature-indexed contracts. The source line is Stockholm Exergi. A temperature-indexed contract is not a named hall delivery.

The commercial sentences must stay Exergi’s. The utility invests in pipe connections while data-centre operators invest in heat pumps, converting a cooling cost into a revenue stream of SEK 2 million per megawatt per year. A neighbouring metric on the same page writes about €170,000 per megawatt per year paid to operators. Those are platform price signals. This article does not convert one into the other and does not attach either figure to a named Swedish hall.
