Statnett’s Samnanger–Øygarden page is a 26 June southern-route hearing, not reserved Øygarden hall power

Statnett’s Samnanger–Øygarden hub writes that material for two southern routes was delivered to NVE on 7 May 2026, with a hearing deadline of 26 June 2026. A southern-route hearing is not reserved offtake.

Statnett’s Samnanger–Øygarden project hub is the dated hearing source used here. It writes a new 420 kV connection from Samnanger to Øygarden as stage three of the Bergen-area and Haugalandet area plan. The notification to NVE is written as February 2024, with NVE’s hearing from 16 October 2024 to 16 January 2025, and an NVE request for an additional study in April 2025. A stage-three notification is not reserved hall offtake.

The May-and-June sentence must stay a May-and-June sentence. Material for two southern routes is written as delivered to NVE on 7 May 2026. A 12 May 2026 update is written as correcting chapter 6 so that the estimates take the west side of Byfjorden as the starting point, not the east side. The hearing deadline for the southern alternatives is written as 26 June 2026. A closed comment window is not a concession.

The purpose sentence must stay a purpose sentence. The hub writes that consumption in the Bergen area will rise sharply, and that Statnett and BKK know of further consumption-growth plans, especially on the coast. A new connection to Øygarden is written as raising grid capacity so that planned consumption growth can be accommodated and security of supply increased. The connection is written as sitting inside the upgrade of the central grid between Sauda and Sogndal. Municipalities listed are Samnanger, Vaksdal, Osterøy, Alver, Askøy and Øygarden. Coast-growth language is not a named hall.
