Statnett’s Lillehammer–Gran page is a 2026 Oslo-melding plan, not reserved Innlandet hall power

Statnett’s Lillehammer–Gran page writes a completed impact assessment, a concession application planned in 2027, and a further melding from Gran toward Oslo planned in 2026. A planned melding year is not reserved offtake.

Statnett’s Lillehammer–Gran project page is the dated planning source used here. It writes a renewal of the existing line between Lillehammer and Gran municipalities. The printed stretch is about 120 kilometres at 420 kV, replacing today’s 300 kV line. Affected municipalities are written as Lunner, Lillehammer, Gjøvik, Øyer, Gran and Søndre Land. A 120-kilometre renewal page is not reserved hall offtake.

The purpose sentence must stay a purpose sentence. The page writes that the main grid in Innlandet, Akershus and Oslo is old, mostly built in the 1950s–1970s, and that several installations are approaching the end of technical life. It also writes that several large consumers want to establish themselves, but that today’s grid does not have capacity for all the needs, and that plans for new generation are larger than the existing grid can take. Unnamed large-consumer language is not a named hall.

The timetable-and-money sentence must stay a timetable-and-money sentence. A melding to NVE is written as September 2022. The impact-assessment programme is written as carried out. Statnett plans to apply for concession in 2027. The route from Gran on toward Oslo is written as depending on grid development north-east of Ulven station, with a melding planned in 2026. The printed cost is 2.7–3.7 billion Norwegian kroner in 2022 kroner. Those kroner figures are estimates. They are not a hall price.

Why it matters

A 120-kilometre 420 kV headline toward Oslo is easy to file as spare hall power. The page is usable only if the 2026 melding stays a planned melding — not a reservation.

What remains unknown

The page does not send the 2026 Gran–Oslo melding, file the 2027 concession or name a reserved hall offtake beside Lillehammer–Gran.
