Hässleholm’s 4 June 2026 notice is an LOI agenda item, not an adopted plan

On 4 June 2026 Hässleholm Municipality said the municipal executive was due to take up a letter of intent with Panattoni on 10 June for a datacentre at Hässleholm Nord. The municipal page is a forward notice. It is not a zoning adoption and not a named tenant.
Hässleholm Municipality’s news page dated 4 June 2026, updated 8 June, is the dated zoning-intent source used here. It says a large datacentre investment could become reality at Hässleholm Nord and that the municipal executive would consider a letter of intent with the developer Panattoni on 10 June 2026. An agenda sentence is not a signed contract in this register and not a voted minutes extract.
The megawatt sentences must stay the developer’s targets on the municipal page. Stage 1 is described as about 150 MW. Stage 2 is described as a further 150 MW if capacity exists, with a total target of about 300 MW and an opening around 2033. Those figures are Panattoni’s programme on the municipal notice. They are not a reserved grid allocation.
Grid and heat stay indications. The page says E.ON has given a positive indication for stage 1, after which a feasibility study follows. HMAB is quoted as welcoming residual heat. A welcome is not a district-heating offtake contract. A positive indication is not a signed connection.
Planning work stays planning work. The notice says the detailed plan will be updated for an access road from Stobyvägen. An access-road update is not an adopted industrial plan for a commissioned hall. No named hyperscale tenant appears on the page.
DataCenterSweden records 4 June 2026 as a Hässleholm municipal LOI-agenda notice for Hässleholm Nord. No project identifier is attached. The next update would need adopted minutes, a signed LOI text, a plan adoption or a named tenant. Until then, 150-plus-150 MW stays a developer target on a municipal forward notice — not a hall in service.
Why it matters
A Skåne municipal datacentre headline with 150 MW stages is easy to file as a sited campus. The June page is usable only if the LOI stays on the agenda — not as an adopted plan.
What remains unknown
This register has not fetched the 10 June 2026 minutes. Whether the executive adopted the LOI, and on what wording, is not stated on the 4 June notice used here.
