GreenLab’s Skive paper with CA Group is a park agreement, not a live Danish hall

On 20 January 2026 GreenLab said Swedish CA Group had signed an agreement for a flexible AI data center of up to 100 MW IT load in the Skive industrial park, written as a 45,000-square-metre building expected to be fully operational in 2027. An agreement is not a commissioned hall.

The size sentence must stay a printed-design sentence. Facts on the same page write a 45,000-square-metre two-storey building and an expected fully operational year of 2027. The investment is described as billion-scale without a printed kroner or euro figure. Those are programme claims. They are not a measured live load and not a proven cash amount.

The heat-and-flexibility sentence must stay a design sentence. The note says surplus heat can be reused by site partners and potentially supplied to district-heating networks, and that hybrid backup is intended to offer grid flexibility. “Can be reused” and “potentially supplied” are not a signed heat-offtake contract and not delivered district heat.

The next update would need a later primary source that names a construction start on the ground, a commissioned 2027 hall, a printed investment figure or a signed heat contract. Until then, 100 MW stays an “up to” design figure — not a live Danish hall.

Why it matters

A 100 MW Skive headline that also says billion-scale is easy to file as a live Danish AI hall with a guessed price. The January note is usable only if the agreement stays an agreement — and the missing investment figure stays missing.

What remains unknown

The note does not print an investment amount, sign a heat contract or say the 2027 hall is already under construction or live.
