Faxe’s 13–12 vote is a planning-act exemption request, not a Haslev building permit

DR’s 29 May 2026 report says Faxe council voted 13–12 the evening before to send a planning-act exemption request to the incoming minister. A dispensation request is not a local plan and not reserved Zealand offtake.

DR’s 29 May 2026 report is the dated vote source used here. It says Faxe council decided on Thursday evening to send a dispensation application about a new data centre to the incoming minister for cities and rural districts. The vote was 13 in favour and 12 against. The request is written to clarify whether a data centre can be built at Høsten Torp outside Haslev. A 13–12 yes to ask the minister is not a building permit.

The pre-vote sentence must stay a pre-vote sentence. DR’s 28 May page names atNorth as the firm that wants to build on a 200-hectare plot at Høsten Torp, and says Bregentved estate is ready to sell the land. It also says a future minister must grant a planning-act exemption before the plans can become reality. Those are application and land-sale sentences on a news page. They are not a signed offtake and not an adopted plan.

The megawatt sentence must stay an application sentence. The 28 May page says the data centre’s capacity is to be able to reach 800 megawatts, which according to the application to the municipality would make it one of the country’s largest. That figure is printed as an application claim. It is not an Energinet reservation and not a commissioned hall. This article does not treat 800 megawatts as reserved Zealand power.

Named neighbouring papers stay neighbouring papers. Energinet’s large-connection pause, atNorth’s DEN01 and DEN02 heat notes, Varde’s Krageris proposals and the Tinghøj and Lunde vote stay on their own files. The mayor’s comment that a yes to the exemption request is not yet a yes or no to the data centre, if the ministry later grants it, stays a comment. This article does not import a reserved megawatt into a split council night.

The next update would need a later primary source that names a ministerial decision, an adopted local plan, a reserved offtake or a building permit. Until then, 13–12 stays a request to ask — not reserved Haslev hall capacity.

Why it matters

A 13–12 Haslev headline that also prints 800 megawatts is easy to file as a Danish campus award. The May vote is usable only if the exemption request stays a request.

What remains unknown

The DR pages do not print a ministerial decision, an adopted local plan, an Energinet reservation or a building permit for Høsten Torp.
