Ellevio’s Stockholm snapshot is a three-layer city queue, not a named hall reservation

Ellevio’s Stockholm regional-network page, last updated 28 August 2026 with a connection-case snapshot dated 19 August 2026, says Ellevio is a Svenska kraftnät customer in the city and a Vattenfall Eldistribution customer in five surrounding municipalities. A listed demand type is not reserved campus power.

The connection-case snapshot printed on the page is 19 August 2026. The network covers regional and local grids in the City of Stockholm plus local grids in Lidingö, Täby, Vallentuna, Ekerö and Nynäshamn. Smaller offtake tied to ordinary community growth can often be handled where local capacity exists. Larger offtake or injection varies by place and is assessed one by one. A snapshot is not a reservation.

The three-layer sentence must stay a three-layer sentence. In the city Ellevio is a regional-network customer of Svenska kraftnät, so allocated capacity at transmission connection points decides whether larger effects can connect. In Lidingö, Täby, Vallentuna, Ekerö and Nynäshamn Ellevio’s local grids are fed by Vattenfall Eldistribution’s regional network. Larger connections are still tested against Ellevio’s local and regional networks, Svenska kraftnät’s transmission grid, Vattenfall’s regional network where it applies, and the timetables for planned reinforcements.

The demand word must stay a demand word. In the City of Stockholm the page says offtake is dominated by housing and community services, but also large commercial buildings, datacentres, the metro, port activity and other critical infrastructure. That is a consumption-type list. It is not a named applicant and not a reserved megawatt. Transfer need in the region is judged to rise in 2026–2040. Winter load is said to be dimensioning for larger new connections.

Named later works stay later works. Svenska kraftnät’s Stockholm Ström and Storstockholm Väst programmes are listed as stepwise reinforcements whose combined effect is expected to be fully available in the early 2030s. Ellevio names city-side works including Björksätra station, Västerort, Söderort and inner-city cable and station upgrades. The snapshot widget of cases above 5 MW must not be copied into a Stockholm cell. The next update would need a later primary source that names a consumption reservation, a signed connection or a commissioned offtake in the city or the five named municipalities. Until then, the datacentre word stays a demand example — not reserved Stockholm hall capacity.

Why it matters

A Stockholm grid page that prints the word datacentre is easy to file as spare city-hall power. The August snapshot is usable only if that word stays a demand example — not a named reservation.

What remains unknown

The fetched page names area layers, later programmes and a widget of cases above 5 MW. It does not print a named datacentre applicant, a reserved hall megawatt or a signed offtake in Stockholm.
