Ellevio’s Skanstull station day is a 2025 city connection, not Svenska kraftnät’s finished tunnel bore

On 23 December 2025 Ellevio said it had completed a new large network station at Skanstull, a total investment of more than SEK 750 million. The 2025 annual report later records the Hammarbyhamnen switchgear in service in the second half of 2025. A commissioned city station is not the Anneberg–Skanstull tunnel-boring note.
Ellevio’s 23 December 2025 Stockholm-works note is the dated commissioning source used here. Among the year’s examples it says Ellevio completed a new large network station at Skanstull that can receive and distribute considerably more electricity, a total investment of more than SEK 750 million. A completed station sentence is not a reserved hall offtake.
The year-end sentence must stay a year-end sentence. The 2025 annual report, published 19 February 2026, says two important Stockholm facilities entered service in the second half of 2025: the new Skanstull switchgear in Hammarbyhamnen and a new 220 kV line in the National City Park. It also writes the Skanstull rebuild as creating a new connection to both the transmission grid and Stockholm’s regional network. Those are Ellevio city-network facts. They are not Svenska kraftnät’s 400 kV tunnel.
The neighbour-tunnel sentence must stay a neighbour-tunnel sentence. Svenska kraftnät’s 7 May 2025 Anneberg–Skanstull note records a finished tunnel bore, not an energised 400 kV city cable. This article does not treat Ellevio’s 2025 station as that tunnel and does not treat the finished bore as Ellevio’s switchgear.
Related grid notes stay on their own pages. Värtan’s 2027 rebuild, the National City Park 220 kV Alkistan note, the Akalla distribution station and Ellevio’s Stockholm snapshot are different dates and different legal rows. This article does not import a reserved inner-city hall into a Skanstull commissioning day.
DataCenterSweden records 23 December 2025 as an Ellevio Skanstull station-completion notice, read with the 2025 annual report’s second-half commissioning sentence. No project identifier is attached. The next update would need a later primary source that names a reserved city offtake tied to the new connection. Until then, the Hammarbyhamnen switchgear stays a 2025 city station — not reserved Stockholm hall capacity.
Why it matters
A Skanstull commissioning headline next to a finished 13-kilometre bore is easy to file as live city-hall power. The December note is usable only if Ellevio’s station stays Ellevio’s station — not Svenska kraftnät’s tunnel.
What remains unknown
The notes do not print a reserved hall megawatt at Skanstull or treat the 2025 station as an energised 400 kV tunnel circuit.
