Ellevio’s February Sälen–Idre note is an appealed regional permit, not reserved mountain-hall power

Ellevio’s Sälen–Idre page writes that the Energy Markets Inspectorate granted a permit in February 2026 to build the regional line, and that the decision has been appealed. An appealed permit is not reserved offtake.

Ellevio’s Sälen–Idre project page is the dated permit source used here. It writes that the grid up to the Idre area is under-dimensioned and needs to be expanded for growing mountain tourism. Ellevio has applied to build an eight-Swedish-mile regional line from Sälen up to Idre, where a new regional station is planned. In February 2026 Ellevio received a permit from the Energy Markets Inspectorate to build the line. A tourism-grid permit is not reserved hall offtake.

The appeal sentence must stay an appeal sentence. The same paragraph writes that the decision has been appealed. The page does not name the appellant or print a court outcome. An appealed Inspectorate permit is not a concession in undisturbed legal force and not a reserved megawatt.

The consult sentence must stay a consult sentence. Ellevio carried out consultation in spring 2023 before the permit application. After comments from property owners and Idre sameby, Ellevio examined the proposed alternative and held a complementary consultation in autumn 2023. Those are process facts. They are not a construction start.
