Ellevio’s Prästnäset–Sävsberg paper is a 77-to-145 kV change consultation, not reserved Hälsingland hall power

Ellevio’s December 2025 investigation-consultation paper, listed with comments due 6 February 2026, covers raising the existing 77 kV line to 145 kV between a new Prästnäset station and Sävsberg. A voltage-change consultation is not reserved offtake.

Ellevio’s December 2025 Prästnäset–Sävsberg consultation paper is the dated change source used here. It covers a concession change to raise the existing 77 kV overhead line to 145 kV between a new Prästnäset station and the existing Sävsberg station in Ovanåker and Bollnäs municipalities. Ellevio’s current-consultations list printed a comment close of 6 February 2026. A change consultation is not a granted higher-voltage concession.

The triangle sentence must stay a triangle sentence. The paper places the work inside what Ellevio calls the Bollnäs triangle, a regional-grid reinforcement in the Bollnäs–Ljusdal–Alfta area and toward Edsbyn and the Dalarna grid. Three new stations are named: Simessjön, Prästnäset and Bolle. A new line will be built between Simessjön and Prästnäset; the existing Prästnäset–Sävsberg line will be rebuilt and raised in voltage. Those station names stay package names. They are not reserved hall campuses.

The connection sentence must stay a connection sentence. The line is written in two stretches, Prästnäset–Säverstabor and Säverstabor–Sävsberg. The connection moves from the existing Bränderna station to the new Prästnäset station. Ellevio already holds a line concession for Bränderna–Sävsberg; the 2018 decision (dnr 2008-100120) says the line has a 145 kV construction voltage but is operated at 77 kV, and that a new application is needed to operate above 77 kV. A new application duty is not a live 145 kV circuit.

Related grid notes stay on their own pages. Ellevio’s Enmyran–Bergvik consultation, the Igulsberget–Torpberget wind-tie paper and other Hälsingland rows are different dates and different instruments. This article does not import a Bergvik hall cable or a Härjedalen wind tie into a Prästnäset voltage-change paper.

DataCenterSweden records the December 2025 paper, with a 6 February 2026 comment close on Ellevio’s consultations list, as a 77-to-145 kV change consultation between Prästnäset and Sävsberg. No project identifier is attached. The next update would need a later primary source that names a decided concession change, a commissioned Prästnäset station, or a reserved consumption agreement beside the triangle. Until then, the paper stays a voltage-change consultation — not reserved Hälsingland hall capacity.

Why it matters

A Bollnäs-triangle voltage-raise headline is easy to file as spare inland hall power. The paper is usable only if the change consultation stays a change consultation — not a reservation.

What remains unknown

The paper does not decide the concession change, commission Prästnäset or name a reserved hall offtake beside the triangle.
