Ellevio’s Borgvik–Backa page is a post-summer 2026 consult plan, not reserved Årjäng hall power

Ellevio’s Borgvik–Backa project page writes a concession investigation now and a consultation with landowners planned after summer 2026, with construction from 2030. A planned consult is not reserved offtake.

Ellevio’s Borgvik–Backa project page is the dated planning source used here. It writes a new six-Swedish-mile regional line between Borgvik and Backa in western Värmland. The line is written as strengthening the grid in Årjäng and as also making it possible for new customers to connect. Construction is written as starting in 2030, with the line planned to be finished in 2032. A station-to-station regional plan is not reserved hall offtake.

The consult sentence must stay a consult sentence. The page writes that a concession investigation is under way now, and that Ellevio plans to consult affected landowners, authorities and other parties after summer 2026. The consultation is written as split into two stretches. Those who are affected are to be told when the consult starts and how to comment. A planned post-summer consult is not a construction start and not a reserved megawatt.

The corridor sentence must stay a corridor sentence. Large parts of the stretch are written as new, while Ellevio aims to build parts of the line in an already existing corridor. Those are alignment facts. The page does not give a megawatt, a customer name or a hall. Those missing figures stay missing.

Related grid notes stay on their own pages. Ellevio’s Kil–Kristinehamn reinforcement row and other Värmland regional-grid papers are different dates and different stretches. This article does not import a reserved hall offtake or a construction start into a post-summer 2026 consult plan.

DataCenterSweden records after summer 2026 as an Ellevio concession-investigation and planned-consult notice for Borgvik–Backa. No project identifier is attached. The next update would need a later primary source that names the consult as opened, a filed concession, construction under way in 2030, or a reserved consumption agreement with a printed megawatt. Until then, the planned consult stays a regional-grid paper — not reserved Årjäng hall capacity.

Why it matters

A six-Swedish-mile western Värmland headline is easy to file as spare hall power. The page is usable only if the post-summer consult stays a consult — not a reservation.

What remains unknown

The page does not open the post-summer 2026 consult, start 2030 construction or give a reserved hall megawatt beside Borgvik–Backa.
