Ellevio’s Älvdalen–Väsa page is a 2025–2026 rebuild, not reserved Dalarna hall power

Ellevio’s Älvdalen page writes a renewal and move of the 1950s Älvdalen–Gåsvarv–Väsa regional line, with a 2025 start and a 2026 finish. A rebuild year is not reserved offtake.
Ellevio’s Älvdalen project page is the dated rebuild source used here. It writes that Ellevio is future-proofing the regional line south of Älvdalen. The line is written as a 1950s overhead stretch from Älvdalen, past Gåsvarv, to Väsa. It is written as important for supply in Älvdalen and the surrounding area, and also for transferring locally produced energy. A 1950s renewal is not reserved hall offtake.
The move sentence must stay a move sentence. The existing alignment along the waterline is written as no longer wanted, mainly because of proximity to houses in Gåsvarv and because it affects the landscape at Österdalälven. The eight-kilometre stretch is written as running mostly through forest from Väsa northwards. Just south of Gamla Skärklittsvägen the overhead line is written as becoming a cable for the last stretch into Älvdalen. Those are alignment facts. They are not a reserved megawatt.
The works sentence must stay a works sentence. The start date is written as 2025 and the estimated finish as 2026. During the works the page writes heavy traffic, felling for the corridor and excavation for the cable. A 2026 finish window is not a hall agreement.
Related grid notes stay on their own pages. Ellevio’s Blyberg–Grönklitt–Våmhus consult row and other Dalarna regional-grid papers are different dates and different stretches. This article does not import a reserved hall offtake into a 2025–2026 Älvdalen rebuild.
DataCenterSweden records 2026 as an Ellevio rebuild-finish window for Älvdalen–Väsa. No project identifier is attached. The next update would need a later primary source that names the eight kilometres as in service, or a reserved consumption agreement with a printed megawatt. Until then, the 2026 finish stays a regional-line rebuild — not reserved Dalarna hall capacity.
Why it matters
An eight-kilometre Dalarna rebuild headline is easy to file as spare hall power. The page is usable only if the 2026 finish stays a line move — not a reservation.
What remains unknown
The page does not name the eight kilometres as in service or give a reserved hall megawatt beside Älvdalen–Väsa.
