The Inspectorate’s Sala–Krylbo case is a 145 kV remittal, not reserved Dalälven hall power

On 1 December 2025 the Energy Markets Inspectorate opened case 2025-103572: a 145 kV overhead line from station Krylbo to station Sala in Avesta and Sala municipalities. Vattenfall writes the same stretch as a 70-to-130 kV replacement. A remittal is not reserved offtake.
The Energy Markets Inspectorate page for case 2025-103572, created 1 December 2025, is the remittal source used here. It says Vattenfall Eldistribution has applied for a permit to build and use a line. The application concerns a 145 kV overhead line from station Krylbo to station Sala in Avesta and Sala municipalities. The last day for comments is 16 January 2026. A comment deadline is not reserved offtake.
The operator-page sentence must stay an operator-page sentence. Vattenfall’s Sala–Krylbo page writes a new 130 kV concession to replace and reinforce today’s 70 kV line, touching Avesta Municipality in Dalarna County and Sala Municipality in Västmanland County. Complementary consultation ran from December 2024 into 2025. A separate later 40 kV project between Krylbo and Igeltjärna/Brovallen is printed as less advanced. Those are regional-network facts. They are not a hall agreement.
The need sentence must stay a need sentence. Vattenfall writes large electricity-intensive industrial investments and electrification as the reason capacity must rise in Västmanland. That is a purpose paragraph. It does not name a data-centre offtake on the Krylbo–Sala stretch.
Related grid notes stay on their own pages. Svenska kraftnät’s Fallviken–Horndal remittal, Horndal campus notes and other Dalälven rows are different dates and different legal rows. This article does not import a reserved Avesta hall into a Sala–Krylbo remittal day.
DataCenterSweden records 1 December 2025 as an Energy Markets Inspectorate remittal for Krylbo–Sala. No project identifier is attached. The next update would need a later primary source that names a granted concession, an energised 130 kV line or a reserved consumption agreement beside the stretch. Until then, case 2025-103572 stays a remittal — not reserved Dalälven hall capacity.
Why it matters
A Krylbo–Sala 130 kV headline next to Horndal campus papers is easy to file as spare Dalälven hall power. The December remittal is usable only if the replacement stays a replacement — not a reservation.
What remains unknown
The inspectorate page does not grant the concession or name a reserved consumption agreement beside Sala–Krylbo.
