The Inspectorate’s Bränslegatan pair is a Västerås remittal, not reserved Mälaren hall power

On 24 February 2026 the Energy Markets Inspectorate published cases 2026-100227 and 2026-100232: two 145 kV overhead lines from the existing Finnslätten station to a planned Bränslegatan station in Västerås. A comment deadline is not reserved offtake.

It says the inspectorate is examining two applications from Vattenfall Eldistribution to build two new lines. The applications concern two 145 kV construction-voltage overhead lines from the existing Finnslätten station to a planned Bränslegatan station in Västerås Municipality, Västmanland County. The last day for comments is 31 March 2026. A remittal window is not a reserved offtake.

The planned-station sentence must stay a planned-station sentence. Bränslegatan is printed as a planned station. The cases are not the Finnslätten–Munga voltage-change filing and not the Skultuna–Munga 130 kV legal-force row. Those neighbouring Västmanland papers stay on their own files.

The comment sentence must stay a comment sentence. The inspectorate asks addressees who already spoke in consultation to answer the remittal anyway so comments can be weighed in the examination. That is process language. It is not a granted concession and not a hall agreement.
