Conapto’s 5 December 2024 paper is an OCP Ready liquid-cooling stamp, not a new hall megawatt

On 5 December 2024 Conapto said Stockholm 4 South had become the first data-centre in Europe to earn OCP Ready V2 for Hyperscale. The same notice says the certified hall is uniquely positioned to support high-density liquid-cooled workloads. A checklist stamp is not the later +8 MW or 28 MW papers.
Conapto’s 5 December 2024 Mynewsdesk notice is the dated cooling-readiness source used here. It says Conapto is the first data-centre provider in Europe to achieve OCP Ready V2 for Hyperscale certification, granted by the Open Compute Project Foundation. The recognition is for the Stockholm 4 South data centre. First in Europe is a programme sentence. It is not a capacity addition.
The assessment stays seven areas. The process evaluates site access, IT technical space, telecommunications, service, efficiency, openness and certifications, to align with hyperscale workloads including artificial intelligence and machine learning. Mark Dansie, OCP Ready project lead, is quoted that Conapto completed a community-driven checklist. A checklist is not a measured liquid load.
Liquid cooling stays a positioning sentence. As a certified OCP Ready V2 for Hyperscale provider, Conapto’s Stockholm 4 South data centre is uniquely positioned to support high-density liquid-cooled workloads. Uniquely positioned is the issuer’s phrase. This article does not invent a liquid megawatt or a commissioned coolant loop.
Later Conapto megawatt papers stay on their own dates. The 2024 Stockholm 4 South opening, the October 2025 +8 MW notice, the CoreWeave colocation notice and the May 2026 Stockholm 5 Nord 28 MW report are different instruments. This note does not reconcile 14, 20 or 28 MW. The Exergi heat arrangement stays on its own row.
DataCenterSweden records 5 December 2024 as an OCP Ready V2 for Hyperscale stamp at Stockholm 4 South. The South campus project identifier is attached. The next update would need a later primary source that names a commissioned liquid-cooled load. Until then, high-density liquid-cooled stays a readiness sentence — not a new hall megawatt.
Why it matters
A first-in-Europe liquid-cooling stamp is easy to file as extra South-campus megawatts. The December notice is usable only if the checklist stays readiness, not +8 MW.
What remains unknown
The notice does not publish a liquid-cooled megawatt, a coolant-loop commissioning or a reconciliation with later South-campus capacity papers.
