atNorth and Selected Group agree DEN02 greenhouse heat; Q3 2028 is a first-phase target

On 11 August 2026 atNorth said surplus heat from DEN02 in Ølgod would power Selected Group’s large-scale greenhouse development. The first greenhouse phase is expected in the third quarter of 2028, next to the data center and inside the local-plan area. A signed heat paper is not 2028 delivery, and Ølgod is not Ballerup or SWE04.

atNorth’s 11 August 2026 notice, dated the same day on PR Newswire, is the operator source used here. It says surplus heat from the DEN02 campus in Ølgod will power Selected Group’s large-scale greenhouse development. Varde Municipality’s Krageris page repeats the partnership date and says Selected Group is to establish the greenhouse that is sought next to the possible data center. Those are Danish offtake-intention sentences. They are not a Swedish heat contract.

The schedule band is a first-phase target. The project is designed to scale in tandem with DEN02. The first phase is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2028. The greenhouses are to sit immediately adjacent to the data center, within the local-plan area. Expected is not a delivery-start certificate. This register does not treat a later 2028 heat season as documented.

Identity control matters because atNorth already has other Nordic heat rows. The November 2025 Vestforbrænding paper for DEN01 in Ballerup, the SWE02 Stockholm Exergi enablement, SWE04’s Sollefteå heat intention and this Ølgod greenhouse paper are different instruments. Ballerup is not Ølgod. Twenty-two-and-a-half megawatts at DEN01 is not this contract. The notice mentions Kesko in Finland and Stockholm Exergi at SWE01 as other collaborations; those sentences are not this agreement.

No megawatt of heat or IT load is published in the cited 11 August papers. The 2024 DEN02 announcement’s 250 MW initial-capacity sentence stays on its own row if used later. It is not restated here and is not converted into greenhouse heat. Varde’s municipal page, stored on a neighbouring note, still describes April 2026 as approval of plan proposals — not a final local plan and not a building permit.

DataCenterSweden records 11 August 2026 as a Danish greenhouse-heat agreement for DEN02. No Swedish project identifier is attached. The next update would need a later primary source that names actual heat delivery, a changed phase date or a different offtaker. Until then, the third quarter of 2028 stays a first-phase target.

Why it matters

A named greenhouse buyer is easy to fold into atNorth’s Swedish heat rows. The August paper is usable only if Q3 2028 stays a Danish first-phase target — and if Ballerup and SWE04 stay on their own pages.

What remains unknown

The August notices do not publish a heat megawatt, a 2028 delivered megawatt-hour, a Danish grid agreement or a Swedish offtaker.
