Arelion’s April 2026 Danish notice is a landing-station and duct upgrade, not a DEN01 heat paper

On 20 April 2026 Arelion said it was upgrading its Nørre Nebel cable landing station and adding Danish route capacity, including completed duct and cable extensions to atNorth DEN01. A carrier build is not a hall commissioning and not the 2025 Scandinavian duct notice.

Arelion’s 20 April 2026 notice is the dated carrier source used here. It says the company is upgrading its Nørre Nebel site to support additional cable landings and long-term scalability. The site is described as fully operational and project-ready, with front haul, back haul and subsea horizontal directional drilling in place for landing several diverse sea cables. A ready landing station is not a named new submarine system in service.

The route sentences must stay route sentences. Arelion says it is using ducts on a north route from Nørre Nebel to Copenhagen via a subsea cable system from Aarhus to Copenhagen. On the south route, ducts through Esbjerg to Kolding and Copenhagen add resilience, with Kolding as a junction south to Germany and east to Copenhagen. New optical systems supporting wavelength capacity have been added between Amsterdam and Kolding. Those are carrier-path sentences. They are not a Danish hall megawatt.

The DEN01 sentence must stay a fibre sentence. The notice says the investments include recently completed new duct and cable extensions connecting the atNorth DEN01 Copenhagen data centre to Arelion’s Nordic network. Completed duct to a named campus is not the Vestforbrænding heat agreement for DEN01 and not a statement that DEN01 entered operation on this paper’s date.

A Danish landing-station notice that names DEN01 is easy to file as a campus opening. The April paper is usable only if the completed object stays duct and cable — not heat delivery and not a new submarine system.
