Site selection

Site selection is a comparison of files, not a hunt for the greenest pin. For each plot, write what is known about the network owner, the plan, the environmental questions, fiber, expansion space and local politics. If a cell is empty, it is empty. Business Sweden’s Site Finder is a general industrial-land tool. It is not this register, and it is not a connection study.

General orientation. Assess the specific project separately. Applies to: Readers preparing a Swedish data-center development file. This is orientation, not a permit decision.

Minimum comparison set

Do not rank Sweden as “best in the Nordics” from this matrix. Rank the plots you actually hold files for.

  • Grid: owner, voltage, latest written position.
  • Plan: detaljplan status and what use it actually allows.
  • Environment: which investigations are triggered.
  • Fiber: diverse entries, not logo count.
  • Neighbors: noise, traffic, competing land use.
  • Expansion: what the next hall would require.
